A closer look at Macau's food streets
Macau Explorer creates guided tasting walks for food curious travelers, couples, small friend groups, and repeat visitors who want more than a quick bite. Each route focuses on local markets and food districts, with stops chosen for their connection to the neighborhood and its everyday culinary culture.
Our experiences are reservation based and usually run on Wednesday through Saturday, with departures at 11:00 and 16:30. Bookings are arranged in advance, and dietary details should be shared at least 48 hours before the tour so the route and tastings can be confirmed properly.
Small-group tasting walks with local context and flexible pacing.
Discover neighborhood flavors, market staples, and the stories behind each stop.
The market tasting walk is designed for groups of 3 to 10 participants and lasts about 180 minutes. Depending on the route, guests can expect 4 to 6 tastings, with a focus on local specialties and practical guidance that helps each stop feel connected rather than random.
After the walk, guests can also receive local recommendations for places to explore on their own. Route suitability, venue availability, and tasting details are confirmed before departure, and private culinary routes can be arranged for groups seeking a more personal pace.
